My latest album was produced by Kieran Kiely who has toured and recorded with many major names such as Ronan Keating, The Corrs, Van Morrisson, Shane McGowan and currently Sinead O'Connor.

Kieran and I have worked together on a few other projects and we recently got together to record this album which was made between my house in North Clare and Kieran's London based studio.

• I'm truly grateful to Kieran for his painstaking efforts. tlc, fortitude and diligence in producing and playing on the album and also most thankful to all of the great players who also contributed.

The Album so far

• I began pitching the songs last year and the response has been very encouraging so far. 'The Battle of Goose Green' has already been taken on for a forthcoming film drama on the Falklands war and I've had lots of BBC radio spins on other tracks from the album, particularly 'Tablets of Stone' and 'The Battle of Goose Green'. I've sent it out to all the major labels and publishers in the UK and Ireland and took it over to Nashville a few months ago to pitch it there. If I've learnt anything over my years as a songwriter it's simply that Songwriting is a journey, a process rather than an event and it's not just about writing a good song. It's about contacts, networking and of course that magical little entity, LUCK!
