Sean Patrick McCarthy is an accomplished songwriter, recording artist and performer in several genres. London Irishman Sean has had many of his compositions covered by named artistes including Mick Hucknall as well major Irish acts including The Fureys, Foster and Allen and Susan McCann.

Sean has also enjoyed major success in his own right under his alternative performing names and pseudonyms, with combined album and single sales approaching 200,000 units. All of the tracks on Sean's biggest selling album were self penned.

This NEW album of songs, 'The Jewel of the Village' is an eclectic mixture of Sean's songwriting skills spanning Contemporary, Country, Folk and Gospel, with a diverse blend of subject matter ranging from unrequited love to the Falklands war, Infidelity, Eamon De Valera and the pathos of Ireland's troubled past.
